Online, Virtual Blue Skies Music Festival

It is with great sorrow that we announced the Blue Skies Music Festival 2020 in the site is CANCELLED!

With a heavy heart

There will be no festival at the site this year!

We are deeply saddened and sorry to make this announcement. This decision was made by consensus at an online meeting of more than 100 people. We can clearly see that the slow return to some form of normalcy is not going to happen in time for us to safely hold the Blue Skies festival this August long weekend.

So in the intrepid nature of the Blue Skies Music Festival we’re virtual for 2020!

No question, we’ll miss being with each other in person; and yet we’re hoping this will give us a chance to connect, learn something new, and hear new music. We’ll have more information about online festivities as soon as possible.

You have found the 2020 Program out-lining Blue Skies concerts and gatherings for the August long weekend.

We’ll have some “Main Stage” performances, workshops and drum roll please …
Virtual campfires and “Open Stage” performances: send us your campfire jam!

What is the Blue Skies Music Festival?

“A great party and a tight community, Blue Skies has also been known since the start as a bit of a musician’s festival. There’s a relaxed and informal atmosphere that allows performers, audience and organizers to ease back a bit and just enjoy. It’s the kind of place where you just might find yourself sitting around the campfire jamming with the musicians you just watched on stage, or doing a volunteer shift shoulder to shoulder with your musical hero.”
